We were in the midst of Virginia's beautiful horse country! We toured Manassas Battlefield, Ben Lomand, Historic Oatlands Plantation, and Aldie Mill. We boarded Potomac River Cruise to Mount Vernon. Charile Carter gave us a slide presentation of his research: "The Home Sites of Major Edward Dale". Trish and Mo Petitt invited us to a Dinner Lawn Party at the historical house "Leeton". Ron Gentry and his musical group played while we enjoyed our picnic!
